Take pride in your packaging!
I get so exited when I get an item from etsy and it’s nicely packaged! This might be the graphic designer in me talking but I think the way you package your product is so important! A little extra effort in that department goes a long way. When I get really nice packaging from a shop I keep it! Even if I probably won’t use it for anything I still keep it, and I’m sure I’m not the only one out there who does this. anything you send your customer that they want to keep (apart from the actual product of course…) is a very valuable marketing tool. However if you think nice packaging isn’t really your thing, or just not in your budget then just some simple tissue paper and a nice piece of string is great. It makes the customer feel like they’re getting a little pressie or something. Its just so much nicer than just opening up the postal bag and seeing the item straight away…
